Curry Night25/9/2018 We all had a fantastic time at the Curry Night and we managed to raise a really good sum for the maintenance of the village hall. Everyone has said how delicious the curries were - so many thanks to the Committee members for producing such a great spread of food. Here are a few photos from the night.

Moor 2 Sea Cycle Race6/9/2018 Saturday 8 September - This cycle event which is now in its 12th year has two routes that will be passing through the village on the main lane from Ide on their way to the finish at Haldon Racecourse. The organisers anticipate that riders on this route (who will be taking part in either the Challenge Route of 70 miles or the Extreme Route of 113 miles) will be coming up Blacksmiths Hill to the ridge anytime between 1.30 and 5.30pm. The lane won't be closed to traffic so drivers and horse riders should be mindful of cyclists. See here for the event website who would welcome any villagers who can stand on the road and cheer the riders on - they'll be pretty tired by the time they reach us..!!
