Cycling Event 4th May

A Cycling Event called the Dartmoor Demon is being held on the above date and the route will be through part of the village.
 
The event will start and finish at the Racecourse.  The route will bring the riders along the ridge road past the Forestry Commission entrance to Pen Hill Cross.  From there the route is down the hill past the quarry, past Webberton Cross and Manstree Cross and onto Ide.
 
The details indicate there could be 700 riders.  The event starts at 7.45 am and the riders are expected to be going through the village between 8.24 am and 10.25 am.  Times are a guide.
